The BERG SCHLOSSBERG Grand Cru presents with a tremendous salinity, which seems to jump out of the glass with the first sniff. The minerality of BERG SCHLOSSBERG is vibrant and elegant in the same way. A dense and likewise consolidated zest and complexity leads to the manifestation of taste on your palate. The BERG SCHLOSSBERG is very pleasant with a delicate acidity, bolstered by an intense minerality and oak with a long and lingering finish. The yeasty zest is very intense on the palate and has herbal and slight floral hints. There´s a nuance of rock candy and very subtle trace of tobacco.The lively and fine acidity is balanced by a nice creaminess. We recommend pairing with fresh marinated prawns with lemon-oil and ginger-jelly or a medallion of turbot on glazed truffle with parsley purée. 98 points rated by James Suckling
